Outreach
Alongside my research, I genuinely enjoy sharing ecology with a broad audience through media work, public talks, and educational activities, aiming to bring our scientific results closer to those who fund it, to the people making decisions on the land, and—above all—to stay connected with the real world beyond the lab.

Ecological Education and Public Engagement
2010–2020
- Over the past decade, I have carried out numerous environmental education seminars and workshops designed to raise awareness about biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. These activities have addressed the importance of birds and mammals in providing ecosystem services, the pressures they face from human activities, and the value of species identification to promote knowledge and conservation. Beyond classroom seminars, I have organized field-based workshops focused on wildlife tracking, bird and mammal identification, and guided nature interpretation routes by bicycle. The programs have also included nest box and feeder building, citizen science experiments exploring water pollution and geology, and outreach activities such as environmental film forums. All of these initiatives aim to connect participants with nature through science, and to strengthen their ecological understanding and environmental responsibility.
A selection of posters from over a decade of public activities organized as part of our outreach and environmental education efforts. These materials were used to promote seminars, workshops, and citizen science events focused on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and nature conservation.
Photos from hands-on environmental education activities, both in classrooms and outdoors. These include wildlife tracking, species identification, nature interpretation routes, and the construction of educational materials such as nest boxes and feeders. The aim has been to engage diverse audiences through experiential learning.
